Brooke’s Six Month Photos!

This past saturday we went and got her six month photos taken. Maria, a co-worker from the St. Paul Photographers guild took them. She is an amazing photographer and does a great job with Brooke. I found out while I was there that she will be leaving the guild at the end of February. We talked though and she said she will be available to take her nine month photos in May. I am not sure where they will be taken though. As far as the photos go, Brooke looked awesome. She won’t take her hands out of her mouth though. So most of the photos are showing that. Darn teeth.

Brooke - February 2010 (6 Months)

Brooke is already at the six month milestone. She is doing great. She is amazing us daily as most kids do. She can sit up on her own and is getting very good at it. She started sleeping through the night. We aren’t sure if this is going to continue or if she is in a growth spurt. She is also teething, I think she will have teeth within the next couple of weeks. She loves toys and playing with anything she can get her hands on. Getting her dressed sometimes seems impossible with her wiggling all over. She is getting good at picking up toys and switching them from one hand to another. She loves her pacifier. She knows what it is and picks that up before any other toy. She weighed in at 14.10 lbs and 26.5 inches. I know she will continue to grow but she just looks bigger every day.

Brooke’s Baby Dedication

We decided to dedicate Brooke at our church. She was dedicated at Living Rock Church on January 31st. She looks gorgeous. It was an amazing time to have friends and family come and enjoy a time of dedicating our beautiful daughter to God and that we will focus on his to raise her. Afterwards we had a potluck at our house. We enjoyed some good food and conversation.

Brooke - January 2010 (5 Months)

Well. As you probably can see Brooke is getting big. She weighed in at 14 lbs and 25 inches. She loves to talk and show off her voice. Also, still loves her feet and fingers in her mouth along with anyone else’s fingers if they will let her. She is getting really good at rolling over and over. Starting to sit up on her own, needs a little assistance but is getting better everyday. She likes her solids - rice cereal and bananas so far. She started out at 2 tablespoons and is up to 5 tablespoons.

Brooke’s Cousin - baby Rilee 12-6-09

Brooke has her second cousin. Rilee was born on 12-6-09 at 3.22pm. She weighed in at 7.15 lbs and 20 inches. They were only an inch apart when born and weighed the same when they were born. We are excited to see them grow up together. Before we know it they will be the same weight and size.  Congrats to Andy and Jess on their little blessing. They are incredible. Enjoy her.

First christmas as a family!!

Brooke’s first christmas. We enjoyed our time together. We had multiple christmas. We had a total of 8 between Aaron and Lizzie’s family. Brooke did incredible going to all the different places and see all the different people. She started to get a little attached after that weekend but is getting better now.

Brooke - December 2009 (4 Months)

Brooke is four months. Time goes by fast. A few things about her this month: She found her feet and loves to put them in her mouth. Starting to talk and make noises. She is getting a lot better holding onto toys. She continues to love to be held up either standing or sitting. We enjoyed our first chistmas as a family. She got to see her first snowfall. I am not sure that she understood what happened. Next year will be like seeing it for the first time all over again. She received many gifts including toys, clothes, bibs, shoes, and much more. Started to see people and know who people are. Loves to look around and see what is going on. She has always been very alert but now I think she is understanding who is going on and taking everything in. Towards the end of the month she figured out how to roll over from her back to her stomach.

Thanksgiving 09

This was our first Thanksgiving as a family. We had a blast. We enjoyed many different ones. We spent sometime with Aaron’s grandparents on Thanksgiving.  Then on Saturday we spent some time at Lizzie’s parents house.

She is 3 months this month. She is really starting to talk, hold onto things, is very alert. She absolutely loves her hands. She is also drooling very, probably teething too.

Brooke’s 3 month photos

We got Brooke’s 3 month photos taken at a studio I work at in St. Paul, the St. Paul Photographers Guild. She did very well surprising we were there for quite a while. But she was a trooper and showed off her personality well with keeping her hands in her mouth and did a lot of smiling.
